Abstract

The American Institute of Accountants Orientation Test, the 1947 edition of the A.C.E. Psychological Examination, the O.S.U. Psychological test, and the Strong (accountant's scale) were administered to 95 freshman students at the University of Wyoming for whom accounting grades were available. Validity coefficients were, respectively, .32, .36, .37, and .26. Multiple correlations were computed which showed that for 1, 2, or 3 tests, the best combinations did not include the AIA Orientation test.
