The administrative judgment test
Journal of Applied Psychology · 1949 · Volume 34 · Issue 3
Abstract
The administrative judgment test is designed to aid in the selection of persons for executive positions. The items are in 5-choice form and attempt to measure the common elements in the administrative process. For 4 groups of government and military administrators, using ratings on job performance and position grade as criteria, the median-validity coefficient for the administrative-judgment test was .51 and for the ACE mental ability test, .30.
