Distribution of scores from revisions of Army Alpha

Abstract

A table presents the percentile equivalents of scores on the Modified Alpha Form 9 made by 794 male and 963 female high school seniors drawn from 23 schools scattered throughout the United States. The mean and standard deviation for this form do not depart significantly from the statistics for Forms 5, 7, and 8. These results are contrasted with Hay and Blakemore's finding that bunching of scores occurs on one form of the Alpha. (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2025 APA, all rights reserved)
