The orchestral type preferences of students
Journal of Applied Psychology · 1935 · Volume 20 · Issue 6
Abstract
A group of 200 high school and college students who attended concerts and a control group of 100 students who did not attend were asked to check preferences on a list of orchestral music. No significant relationships were found between intelligence and orchestral preference. The military march and the concert waltz were most preferred.
