Review of Mentality of Orphans
Journal of Applied Psychology · Volume 14 · Issue 5
Abstract
Reviews the book, Mentality of Orphans by Robert A. Davis (1930). The material on which this monograph is based was obtained by giving mental examinations to orphans in six Texas orphanages. Two group tests were given to each child. The results obtained were largely corroboratory. Also, the author comments upon social and educational problems dealing with orphans, in the light of his findings. (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2025 APA, all rights reserved)
