Abstract
Reviews the book, Behaviorism by John B. Watson (see record 1931-00040-000 ). Dr. Watson is a most stimulating and sane author when he writes of Behaviorism; he is most irritating and almost fanatical when he labors with "psychology." One wonders if sometimes his writing is not defense (psychoanalytic word to be sure, and yet not anti-behavioristic). Must there be the quarrel which he seems to insist upon between psychology and its young offspring behaviorism? (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2025 APA, all rights reserved)
