Abstract

Reviews the book, A Socio-Psychological Study of Fifty-three Supernormal Children by William T. Root Jr. The aims of the study are mainly to compare the behavior of the superior child with that of the normal child; to note the individual differences of the superior mind in methods of procedure, imagery, associative and mnemonic devices; the character of their responses; and to try to discover the significance of definite systems of training, by incidental education, and the social milieu. The author's conclusions are most interesting and valuable to the research student in this field.
