Review of Educational Psychology

Abstract

Reviews the book, Educational Psychology by Rudolf Pintner (1929). This book is designed for an introductory study of educational psychology, over a period of one semester. There are two distinct parts in the book, the first dealing with original nature and the second dealing with modifications of original nature. Under the first part the author discusses original tendencies, individual differences and nature and nurture. He includes under individual differences some of the more recent work dealing with non-intellectual traits. In the second division the author discusses the laws of learning and applies them to educative problems, and also includes three chapters on educational measurements.
