Abstract

Reviews the book, Diagnosing personality and conduct by P. M. Symonds (1931). This book is is a critical and a significant attempt to summarize and to evaluate the methods and the techniques that have been evolved by a host of individuals. This attempt has necessarily involved scrutiny and evaluation of data that have been assembled by the use of the available techniques. Most mature students of this subject are aware of the rudimentary character of most of the instruments that have thus far been evolved for the diagnosis of personality. Nevertheless, few of them who peruse this volume will fail to extend their acquaintance with the research that has been attempted in this field.
