Review of How Numerals Are Read
Journal of Applied Psychology · Volume 7 · Issue 1
Abstract
Reviews the book, How Numerals Are Read by Paul Washington Terry (1922). Part I of Doctor Terry's excellent monograph deals with studies of the reading of numerals by introspective methods. Part II contains an account of the use of photographic apparatus in dealing with this problem. It is the opinion of the reviewer that the chief value of the monograph lies in the suggested method of studying the problem rather than in the results of the experiments, since a very limited number of subjects participated.
