Abstract

Reviews the book, Religious education and American democracy by W. S. Athearn (1917). The author of this volume pleads for a democracy of religiously educated people. The book is an excellent review of the present condition of religious education and of the attempts made to bring about a better state of affairs. The references to the literature of the subject are really remarkable. (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2025 APA, all rights reserved)
