[Review of the books The principles of psychophysiology. Vol. 1. The problems of psychology
Journal of Applied Psychology · Volume 14 · Issue 6
Abstract
Reviews the books, The principles of psychophysiology. Vol I. The problems of psychology, and perception by Leonard T. Troland (see record 1930-02881-000 ); and The principles of psychophysiology. Vol. II. Sensation by Leonard T. Troland (see record 1931-00079-000 ). The major portion of the first of these works is devoted to the defining of psychology. The second and shorter portion of the first volume is concerned with perception and the second volume with sensation. The reader of volume two will find the pertinent material on perception reprinted as notes from volume one. In spite of this the reviewer would advise the reading of both volumes.
