Abstract

Reports an error in the original article by Harry C. Mahan (Journal of Applied Psychology, 1934[Oct], Vol 18, 645-655). On page 647 the weights used in the second equation were obtained by multiplying those in the first equation. In Table IV the column of weighted scores for Healy PC II should begin with .00 instead of .19. (The following abstract of this article originally appeared in record 1935-03012-001 .) An analysis is made of the original data on the Arthur performance scale. Weighted scores are determined for the Knox cube test, Seguin form board, Healy P. C. II, Porteus maze, and Kohs block design test, which most closely approximate Binet mental age. The results are presented using this battery on a group of twenty state hospital patients.
