Abstract

Reviews the book, The gain of personality by W. Charles Loosmore. This book is a popular psychological statement of the practical values of personality. In the course of his discussion, the author has treated the nature, elements, and general development of personality. Each of the three major divisions is analyzed into its component parts. In brief the mission of the book is not to discuss personality "theoretically or philosophically" but "practically and helpfully." A reading of the book should aid the individual in taking stock of his personal merits and limitations. (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2025 APA, all rights reserved)
