Review of The Psychology of Adolescence
Journal of Applied Psychology · Volume 18 · Issue 3
Abstract
Reviews the book, The Psychology of Adolescence by Karl C. Garrison (see record 1934-02338-000 ). Physical and mental development, motivation, social development, interests, moral and religious growth, personality development, mental disturbances, hygiene, delinquency and guidance are the main subjects treated. The reviewer states that the writer's handling of the necessary background of general psychology has been especially fortunate. It is brief enough not to be unduly repetitious to the student who has previously had courses in psychology, but clear enough to be understood by the intelligent reader who has not had such courses.
