Abstract

Develops a non-verbal intelligence test similar to the Beta examination of the army. Four types of tests used in the Beta test were included, along with four additional tests. Describes the material, the instructions given by the examiner, and the administration and scoring procedures of the tests. Discusses the significance of the examination score for a candidate who takes it without any previous acquaintance as compared to one who is already familiar with the two tests. Emphasizes the practical advantages of such tests. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2016 APA, all rights reserved)
