Influence of Mental Level in the Formation of Boys' Gangs
Journal of Applied Psychology · 1922 · Volume 7 · Issue 3
Abstract
The investigation indicates that mental age is the greatest factor in the selection of one's companions and in holding groups together. It indicates that a common mental level with similar experiences as a background is a much stronger factor in group formation than any other factors investigated. From Psych Bulletin 21:07:00695.
