Abstract

Seventy-five white college students were tested in the University of South Carolina. Fifty-five colored students were tested at Benedist College and Allen University. Due to the scarcity of colored college students, a few colored men in two upper classes of high school were tested. The white students ranged in chronological age from 16 to 25, range of I.Q. 91 to 128, average 112; the colored men ranged in chronological age from 16 to 35, range of I.Q. 76 to 125, average 103.
