An attempt to sort children with specific reading disability from other non-readers

Abstract

After considerable investigating with a group of 12 readers and a group of 14 non-readers, it was found that ratios between scores on certain tests and between performance on several learning lists of words were fairly diagnostic; for example, Binet-performance-scale ratio, Binet-vocabulary ratio, concrete-abstract word ratio.
