Abstract

Motor tests, including the tensimeter, the tapping test, steadiness test, tracing test, and strength of grip test, were given to groups of children with an IQ of at least 115. When the results were compared with those of the control group consisting of children of average intelligence, the differences were found to be negligible. Similar results were obtained when the tapping test was used to study the differences in the effect of practice on the two groups. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2016 APA, all rights reserved)
