Book review: Mental Adjustments
Journal of Applied Psychology · 1916 · Volume 1 · Issue 3
Abstract
Reviews the book written by Wells, F.L. (published in 1917) which discusses the effects of psychoanalysis on the mental efficiency and happiness of normal individuals. Emphasizes on directing education towards a mastery of one's economic existence and love-life and that balancing religious, social-service values would bring adjustment to life. Though the book was non-technical and concrete, its main defect was looseness of composition. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2016 APA, all rights reserved)
