Abstract

Devised a vocational test to measure clerical ability. This clerical examination consisted of eight parts with a maximum time limit of 90 mins for the whole pamphlet and an average time of approximately 40 mins. The diagnostic value of the tests were statistically evaluated on 100 Ss ranging from minor executives to office clerks. Results indicated that speed and accuracy in these tests gave a more reliable prediction of ability in office than age and schooling combined.
