Intelligence and month of birth
Journal of Applied Psychology · 1930 · Volume 15 · Issue 2
Abstract
Pintner criticizes Blonsky's finding that children born in the spring are more intelligent than those born in the fall, on the ground that the significance of the differences found is unknown. Using as subjects in a new investigation 4925 normal children, he finds the intelligence of children born in the warm months the higher, but the differences do not reach his criteria of significance.
