Abstract

Discusses the theory of weighing facts about a man and their influence on the judgment of the man's fitness. Assumes proportionality in the relations lines for the various facts about man which influence the amount of fitness. Also illustrates cases where proportionality is not assumed. Presents two more cases which study intercorrelations, facilitations and inhibitions which influence the judgments of fitness. Implications for use of impressionistic judgment have been given.
