Abstract
Women tend to be superior to men on the Chapman-Cook tests for speed of reading, particularly under condition of maximum lip and tongue movements. This difference does not seem to be a function of intelligence, but rather of a "general language superiority" in women. (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2025 APA, all rights reserved)
