Abstract
Compared IQ scores available in school records for 3 groups of rural youths (N = 675) who were potential respondents to a mail survey. These groups were (a) nontraceable; (b) traceable, but no response; and (c) traceable and response. The mean IQ score of the 3rd group was significantly higher (p < .01) than those of the other 2 groups. (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2025 APA, all rights reserved)
