Models for censored survival analysis: A cone class of variable-sum models

Abstract

SUMMARY A class of models is proposed for the analysis of censored survival data in situations where survival is affected by conditions which lead to censoring. The specific case where survival is exponential is examined in detail, and the methods are applied to a lung cancer clinical trial.
