Miscellanea. Updating the average efficiency factor in α-designs

Abstract

This paper presents a method for updating the average efficiency factor of an α-design after an exchange or interchange in the α-array. This allows the average efficiency factor to be used directly as the objective function in an α-design computer search algorithm.
