Letter to the Editor—The Language of Lot Size

Abstract

This communication lists a selection of some fifty differently expressed formulas, all relating to the “Harris” EOQ/lot-size expression, and appeals for efforts toward standardizing terminology in operations research, to reduce the proliferation of symbols.
