Letter to the Editor—A Note on V. Punga's Method of Solving Linear Equations

Abstract

In this letter, a method of solving systems of linear equations is given. The method is a combination of procedures used in the original and revised simplex method ( see Eisemann, K. 1955. Linear programming. Quart. Appl. Math. 13 N3, 209–232.), and requires less arithmetical operations than the method given in Punga, V. 1958.
