Abstract

The article presents a rejoinder by William T. Greenwood in response to comments made about his December 1966 article regarding business policy. The author discusses the definition of business policy, explaining that it is a course typically offered at the end of an undergraduate or graduate business degree education. The author explains that the two major uses of the course have been to integrate core course materials and to develop analytical and decision-making skills in students. The article redefines business policies as statements of control guides for delegated decision-making.
