Behavior Modification in Management: A Review and Critique

Abstract

The use of operant principles and of behavior modification techniques in the management literature is reviewed and critiqued. Included are studies explaining operant principles, organizational research testing these principles, and work done to date regarding applications of behavior modification in organizations.
