Presidents Letter

Abstract

The article presents a letter from the outgoing President of the Academy of Management. The article notes the incoming organizational leadership, including Joseph A. Letterer as the new President. Stanley Vance will continue as editor of the “Academy of Management Journal.” The author lists the priorities of the last year, including getting internal organizational housekeeping items in order, providing additional professional development opportunities to members, focusing attention on corporate strategy decisions, and taking a look at the relevance of the organization from an outsiders point of view. Other comments are presented.
