Leadership Style and Cognitive Complexity

Abstract

Five samples, ranging from business executives to students, and two measures of cognitive complexity were used to replicate Mitchell's finding of a positive relationship between Fiedler's LPC and an individual's cognitive complexity and to test two related hypotheses. The results did not support Mitchell's findings or the two additional hypotheses.
