Abstract

The article presents the author's opinion regarding an article written by John B. Miner on the subject of professional consultants. The author focuses on providing a critique of Miner's article. He suggests that many of Miner's statements regarding the nature of consulting may be premature. According to the author, Miner's statements regarding management consulting firms are too general. The author goes on to contest Professor Miner's viewpoints on various areas of concern within the field of management consulting.
