Abstract
Rational decision-making is essential for the long-term success of any organization. For lower-level managers, much of their experience in decision-making is derived from recurrent decision problems. This study analyzes the decision patterns of three lower managerial levels and then contrasts these data with the optimal results generated by a dynamic programming model.
