Abstract

The article presents a response to an earlier criticism of his article from Professor Keith Davis on his article “Technology and Organizational Government: A Speculative Inquiry into the Functionality of Management Creeds” in the September 1968 issue of this journal. The author responds to Professor Davis's discussion of industrial humanism and authority in human relations. Additionally, he discusses Davis's claim that he has equated pluralism with constitutionalism. The author discusses the role of democracy in the management hierarchy.
