An Inquiry of The Nominal Group Process

Abstract

The article reports the author's opinions regarding the validity of group process utilized by problem solving committees. The author includes a critique of the article “Nominal and Interacting Group Processes for Committee Decision-Making Effectiveness,” by Andrew Van de Van and Andre Delbecq, published in the June 1971 issue. A study initiated by the author investigating group decision making processes is discussed in detail.
