Abstract

The article presents information about the challenges associated with building behavioral knowledge into a theory of wage administration. A discussion is presented about two hypothesis of wages administration and significant factors associated with the flow of work and structural design in organizations. The author presents a description of the traditional theory and optimistic approach to wage administration and offers suggestions of new approaches to determining employee compensation and wage structures.
