Abstract

This article discusses a study examining the extent to which foreign business students hold unfavorable attitudes towards the United States. The attitudes with which the foreign student leaves the U.S. are the sum of those attitudes with which he came and the experiences he has had while here. The foreign student who returns home badly disposed toward the U.S. may well be in a position to do harm because of his superior educational background. In expressing his negative attitudes, he may influence his country into anti-Americanism and into development along lines that may be bad not only for his country but also for the free world.
