Abstract

The article reports on college students' power within their school and their ability to impact professors and the administration. Most professors typically have little to gain from undergraduate students' achievement and students have limited capability to influence this social force. Sigma Iota Epsilon, a student division of the Academy of Management, is described for the changes and development. Management professors and graduate business students have begun playing a larger role in the student division. Membership is based on academic achievement and the group is focusing on previously unexplored topics.
