Abstract
The article presents information on a study that identifies the conditions under which differential treatment of males and females is less likely to occur in employment settings. The study notes a number of possible sources of discriminatory behavior. Also presented is an analysis of the relationship between sex-role stereotyping and a number of different employment conditions. The study uses as a measurement tool the Women As Managers Scale. According to the study's results, subjects tested differentiate between male and female employees in certain situations.
