Abstract
Absenteeism and performance indices accounted for substantial variance in bank teller voluntary turnover (resignation) and involuntary turnover (dismissal). Predictor and criteria relationships changed substantially for individuals newly employed in 1977-78 compared to 1970-76; however, reasonable cross-validation was exhibited. The results suggest a need to include more criterion variables in theoretical models.
