The Kilmann and Herden Model of Organizational Effectiveness Criteria for Small Business Managers
Academy of Management Journal · 1982 · Volume 25 · Issue 2

Kilmann and Herden hypothesized that the conceptualization of organizational effectiveness criteria would be a function of problem solving style. In a sample of 150 managers of small businesses, the hypothesized relationships were not supported, yet the study suggested useful applications of the model in effectiveness research.
