Academy of Management Review · 1999 · Volume 24 · Issue 3
Abstract
‘Entrepreneurial Intensity: Sustainable Advantages for Individuals, Organizations, and Societies,’ by Michael H. Morris, is a book about the concept of entrepreneurship, and it synthesizes abstract principles, definitions, and frameworks in a valuable way. The author seems to have a firm foundation in both the world of practice and the world of academia, and, as the title indicates, the book is panoramic in its coverage of multiple levels of entrepreneurial activity. It is also succinct (170 pages, including the index), without academic jargon, well organized, and clearly written. Thus, it is an interesting and fast read.
