Abstract

This study tests the link between technological process and perceptions of organizational climate for a sample of professional, technical, and managerial employees in 18 Norwegian firms. The results bear out earlier work by Blauner, Woodward, and Fullan showing more open climates in small batch and process technologies than for mass assemblies.
